Getting Close to Finished, Feedback Request, Optional Content?

Hey everyone, thanks for checking out the game so far. We are excited by the response and have been having a blast playtesting SOAP. In our latest run-through, we learned a bunch. We all played actors playing in a soap called Generic Hospice, a spin-off from the much-beloved Standard Medical Facility. All of our characters were derived from doctor characters from famous television. I may post the notion boards of the gameplay when we release it.

We found play sessions to be about an hour of real-time per episode. We played with four players and that seems to work well, any less and you are going to have everyone on On-Camera scenes, which is fine. Character creation shouldn't take long and I will attach a character sheet if there is interest. I was also thinking of whipping up a show notes document so the director can easily track what happened in an episode for playing longer form games.

We're also onto the idea that the Episode Construction tables kind of define the type of media the actors are portraying, we may work on providing some alternate Episode packs. Support for Sci-Fi Adventure, Pulp Noir, Crime Drama, Hospital Drama, and Situation Comedy. If that's something anyone wants to see, say the word and we will work on it. Also please check out our other work, Austin has written a number of 5e modules that we are very proud of.

Finally is there anything that you think doesn't work, or could be made better in the game? We are interested to have the discussion. Let us know if you play it and how that worked out for you.
