Introduction

While on a diplomatic trip to the material plane, the newly-crowned “Tempest King” of the Djinni has fallen in love with the dormant volcano, Mt. Crest. He has resolved to wait here for 10,000 years until she awakens, bringing the four great winds to keep him company during his long sojourn. His advisors, the Ice Mephit and Dust Mephit, are terrified of what this will mean for his kingdom on the Plane of Air. The Mephits ask the PCs to go talk some sense into the young king. But before they can talk to the king, they must climb the beautiful and dangerous Mt. Crest.
