The end of the world came for reasons both completely predictable and entirely unavoidable.
Too many rats. Not enough cheese.
In the decade-winters after the great war, humanity all but vanished. Now the survivors cower in isolated Bubble Cities. Only the bravest dare to travel through a collapsing landscape boiling with radiation and mutants. Factions fight over the burnt scraps of a better world, Old World Relics are worth more than gold, and somewhere out there your Quest awaits, but only if you are strong enough to find it on the WasteCrawl.
Designed for the One-Page RPG Jam 2022, WasteCrawl takes a deck of cards and a couple of dice and makes a world of post-apocalyptic adventure. It's easy to learn, fun to set up, and fast to play, but deep and wide like a traditional RPG. Designed for 1-8 players (yes, you can play solo), games take 30 minutes to 2+ hours depending on your skill and fortune.
Easy to learn, fun to master. You can even use WasteCrawl to generate a post-nuclear setting for other RPGs. If you like what you see here, check out QuestCrawl, the rules-lite no-prep fantasy-adventure hex-crawl-simulator.

Hi, there's an issue with the second page of the pdf, most of the text is missing
Which browser or PDF viewer are you using? We have had issues with firefox specifically. I will try and upload a new version today to see if I can get it fixed. Thanks for posting.
Alright, I uploaded a new version that I was able to verify in the Roll20 PDF viewer, which is basically the worst PDF viewer on the internet and it works. Let me know if you continue to have issues.
ah ok, yeah it was firefox. Thanks for the quick response, the updated file is working at this end, everything looks great and I can't wait to play it
Hi, I cannot print this game, the QuestCrawl (or the BW version, neither), nor the QuestionCrawl. I can print the character sheets and any other game. Are the pdf print.protected, maybe?
Hello, I have just test-printed these files and verified that they are not print protected, and they print fine for me locally. Can you describe the error you are receiving or the behavior you are experiencing?
Hi, they simply don’t print. The printer log shows as printed and the dialogue control indicates that the printing job is sent to the printer, but the printer just ignores and doesn’t acknowledge this jobs. It only happens to me with your games, even the b/w, but not the character sheets. I print via wi-fi, but as said I also tried the b/w version. ???
Huh, ok, so I am looking through some troubleshooting docs, and they are recommending restarting the printer (it might be a printer memory issue) and the computer. Also, it might be worth trying to “print to PDF” to generate a new system-functioning version of the PDF to print from. Please feel free to come to our discord, and I am happy to help troubleshoot with you. Discord
Thank you very much!
Does that mean it worked?
I'm very excited to try this.
Awesome, let us know how you enjoy it.
