SOAP: The Operatic RPG
A downloadable One-page RPG
SOAP, The Operatic RPG is a tabletop role-playing game designed to give players the experience of being a 1950's Soap Opera actor. Designed for the Tiny Tome game jam by Austin Holm and Gabriel Hernandez it includes Character Generation, Play Rules, and Episode Construction. One player is the director and the remaining players play "stars". The director describes the scenes and plays any characters that aren't stars. The players then go between overacting in scenes and conniving for screen time.

This is delightful! I laughed several time just reading the pdf. I love this theme so much! I do have a suggestion tho: perhaps find a place on the sheet itself to explain or at least hint at what RPF stands for. It's a hilarious joke for ppl downloading from itch, but is a headscratcher if you're looking just at the page.
Anyway, this was super cute and I'll definitely be voting for it in Tiny Tome!
Awww, thanks. Actually fixing that reference right now. The working title was awesome, kind of thinking of rolling back but we have a logo now ;)
The logo is darling, but I'll always have a place in my heart for an imaginary soap opera called RPF from now on :D.
Hey, thank you! I loved Unreality/Strictness by the way.
Thanks so much! I'm really looking forward to expanding that into a bigger game... once I'm done with my current game project D:
